A new name for our practice starting July 31, 2024: Samaritan Medical Care Center

Samaritan Medical Care Center will be joining forces with our practice. We are thrilled to extend a warm welcome to their patients. As part of this expansion, you may notice some changes, including a new name for our practice starting July 31, 2024: Samaritan Medical Care Center. Our new hours, starting Friday, August 16, 2024 will be Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm and Saturday and Sunday, 9:00 am to 1:00 p.m.

Samaritan Medical Care Center and Gateway Family & Urgent Care have always operated under the same local leadership with physicians that have practiced at both locations. Rest assured, while our name may be changing, our dedication to providing compassionate and comprehensive care remains the same.  

Enhancements we think you’ll appreciate: Our team is growing, and so are our hours. This means more flexibility for scheduling appointments that suit your busy life. Plus, we have invested in our clinic to enhance your experience, from our waiting area to additional exam rooms.  

The same great care team you’ve come to know and trust: Change can sometimes bring feelings of uncertainty, but I want to assure you there is no management change and this transition is designed to enhance your experience and provide even better care for you. While our name may be changing, you’ll be cared for by the same team you know and trust. Our dedication to your health and well-being remains steadfast.

Why is the clinic changing its name?

Our clinic will be joining forces with Samaritan Medical Care Center. Samaritan and Gateway have always operated under the same local leadership with physicians that have practiced at both locations. Rest assured, while our name may be changing to Samaritan Medical Care Center, our dedication to providing compassionate and comprehensive care remains the same.

Will the ownership or management of the clinic change?

No, there will be no change in ownership or management. The clinic will continue to be operated by the same physician leadership and team of dedicated healthcare professionals you know and trust.

When will the name change take effect?

The name change will officially take place on XXX. From this date onwards, all clinic communications will fall under the name Samaritan Medical Care Center.

Will there be any changes to the services offered?

No, the range and quality of services we offer will remain the same. Our commitment to providing excellent healthcare services is unwavering.

Will the hours of operation change?

Starting 8/15/24, we will expand our hours of operation to 7 days a week! We will see patients Monday – Friday from 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM and on Saturday and Sunday from 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM. This means more flexibility for scheduling appointments that suit your busy life. 

Will there be any changes to the clinic’s location or contact information?

Our clinic’s location, phone number, and other contact details will remain the same. Starting August 19, 2024, Samaritan Medical Care Center will merge and relocate to our current address and the website www.samaritanmedicalcare.com will become our primary website.

How will the name change affect my medical records?

Your medical records will remain completely secure and unchanged. The name change will not affect the confidentiality or accessibility of your medical information.

Will there be any changes to my insurance or billing process?

The name change will not affect your insurance or billing process. All existing agreements with insurance providers remain in place.

Do I need to take any action regarding this name change?

Just keep an eye out for communications from with our new name, Samaritan Medical Care Center. No other action is required on your part. All changes will be managed internally, and you will continue to receive the same high level of care.

What should I do if I have questions or concerns about the name change?

If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact our clinic directly. Our staff will be happy to assist you with any questions you may have.
